In Playa del Carmen there are 2 A.D. bus terminals, or one is located on fifth avenue with Puerto Juarez and the other is located on avenida 20 with calle 12.
The terminal located on fifth avenue offers services to Mérida, Cancun, Tulum and nearby points of the Riviera Maya, second terminal offers other destinations to different parts of Mexico, here you can find luxury, first and second class buses.
For greater comfort we recommend luxury and first class buses since they do not make stops in towns and are more comfortable, they have climate, bathroom for women and men and during the tour they show movies on LCD screens.
Taxi And Vans Service
In Playa del Carmen you can hire taxi services so that they can take you from the bus terminal to your hotel in the center or in Playacar, the rates range between $ 20 and $ 40 pesos if you travel to Playacar.
We recommend you agree on the price before boarding.
If you travel to some point near Playa del Carmen such as Puerto Morelos, Xcaret, Puerto Aventuras and Akumal there are van services that will leave you on the federal highway at the entrances of these points, at affordable prices and with runs every 15 minutes.
Ferry to Cozumel
You can board a ferry to Cozumel just a few steps from the main square and 2 blocks from the A.D.O bus terminal which is located on Fifth Avenue, the transfer time to Cozumel is 30 minutes.
