The Cenote Ik-Kil is located 3 km from the archaeological site of Chichen Itza, 35 minutes from the colonial city of Valladolid and an hour and a half from Merida, the white city.

Ik Kil Cenote is a park surrounded by exotic plants and trees is the perfect habitat for hundreds of wild birds such as toucans, parrots, mockingbirds, cardinals, fly catchers, turquoise mot-mot, and many more.

Nights at Ik Kil is a mixture of sounds of frogs, crickets and monkeys, as it is surrounded by trees where small wildlife such as deer come and every thing of natural beauty this place has. All this happens while you enjoy the stars and relax in one of the palapas luxury features air conditioning and jacuzzi.

The main attraction is the Cenote Ik Kil, which on its surface is decorated with greenery and you can see the depth in which s lies. To get to be down a stairs made of stone and balconies where you will find little to admire its beauty from different points, to get there, a platform that provides access to fresh and crystalline waters where you can see their small catfish living in it. This place is great after you’ve visited the Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza or Ek Balam, they will find cool relief in its cool waters.

The visit schedule is to cenote 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily.
