Located in the town of Teya, just 1 hour from the city of Mérida, however, it is strategically located on a Gastronomy Route that is gradually being formed, since if you are visiting Izamal, you can get to this place in 25 minutes or if you are in Motul trying its food and want to enjoy something different, you can still get there in just 25 minutes.

El Ramonal de Los Abuelos was born to offer a familiar and cozy place to the inhabitants of the town where they could enjoy a pleasant day, but as time went by it evolved until it became a restaurant that offers fresh dishes, prepared at the moment based on Seafood, Meat and Mayan Fusion that will delight your palate.

The place is spacious, with huge gardens, spaces to rest such as swings, chairs, and hammocks, a pool next to the tables so they can eat quietly while the children play in the water, bathrooms, a bar, the kitchen, and the Chef has an orchard of aromatic herbs to always prepare high quality products.

The concept you manage is completely different from what you find in Yucatan, since its delicious meals are specially created for this place, Chef Felix, who has 35 years of experience in the gastronomic sector, delighting palates in the area of Cancun and the Reviera Maya, however, joined this project by contributing his knowledge of ancestral, pre-Hispanic-contemporary cuisine to delight us with his dishes full of color and flavor.

One of their dishes that you will not find anywhere are the Pescadillas, which are fried quesadillas filled with fish and aromatic herbs accompanied by a whitewash, they are a delight, another of their creations is the Teya dish, which consists of Shrimp sautéed in garlic sauce, seasoned with sapodilla sauce and decorated with sapodilla wedges, served with rice and almond flakes, which when combined is a feast of flavors for the palate. They also have drinks with natural pulp that they themselves produce and prepare at the moment, all with the aim of not losing the quality and flavor of their dishes.

At the moment it is necessary to make a reservation since the success of this place is overwhelming, which means that, in order not to lose the concept, there is a limited space and it is necessary to wait for a space to be vacated to gain access.

The days they work are weekends, Fridays and Saturdays open from 11 am to 7 pm and Sundays from 9 am to 6 pm.
