Inside the Central Plaza of Mayapan there are several small sanctuaries and altars, associated with monumental buildings, among them two platforms can be seen.

The first, to the west of the square, has two staircases with three steps each, delimited by alfardas. The second in the center, called "The Platform of the Danzantes", has three construction stages, in the first stage of construction you can see stairs and alfardas on its four sides, and an upper molding, the second and third stage are attachments that covered the north stairway.
