The room of god Chaac mascarones is located a few meters from the Cenote (natural well) Ch´en Mul, to the East of Kukulcan´s, Castle and to the South of the Rounded Temple.

Construction of this room was base don a rectangular desing. It features a stairway in front, containing five step with dados at the ends and an altar in the center. The upper part of the construction has pilasters decorated with mascarons (or large mask) of the god Chaac and two lines of columns divide its interior space.

Inside the room are two benches attached to the walls and a shrine on the walls. The flat roof of this construction was supported by walls, columns and pilasters made of beams and mortal. The frieze must have contained Puuc style decorative elemets, and it seems that this structure was used to carry out ritual activities and religious ceremonias.
