Taking the deviation from Mérida-Progreso in the archaeological zone of Dzibilchaltun, you will find the cenote X´lacah (old town), it is located on the completely open surface, it measures around 100 m long, its depth on one of its shores is one meter and as you advance it takes an inclined shape and reaches 45 meters from where a wide horizontal and dark gallery opens, the end of which is unknown.

The vestiges found in the cenote such as vessels, carved bones and wooden objects have offered valuable information about the ancient Mayans who lived in the vicinity of the cenote.
