The Yokdzonot Cenote is located 18 kilometers west of Pisté, 15 kilometers west of Chichén Itzá. If you take the free highway it is only 300 meters from Mérida to Chichén Itzá. For 2 years, the women dedicated themselves every afternoon to cleaning and caring for the area where the cenote is located, until in January 2007 they managed to realize their dreams, they opened this majestic cenote to the public.
