Hotel Hacienda Chichén
Hacienda Chichen Resort and Yaxkin Spa is the first Yucatecan hacienda converted to a hotel; Today, it is recognized as one of the most prestigious hotels in the Yucatan Peninsula.
With just 28 rooms, including seven spacious Master Suites, this beautiful Colonial ranch was home to the first scientific explorations of the Carnegie Institution in the early 1800s led by Sylvanus Morley.

A BRIEF TRIBUTE TO THE ARCHEOLOGISTS AND THEIR HOUSES:
Morley's Cottage (# 1, 2, 3, and 4) - Sylvanus Morley's home, they have an enchanting jungle magic. Morley was the lead archaeologist of the explorations conducted by the Carnegie Institution, his house has large terraces and is surrounded by lush gardens near the spectacular pool. The Morley Master Suite # 3 has a king bed and sitting area; spacious room # 2 has two double beds; and the rooms (# 1 and 4) with a queen size bed are preferred by couples on their honeymoon. Book
Ruppert's Cottage (# 5 & 6) - Arch. Karl Ruppert worked at Chichen Itza as part of the Carnegie Institute scouting team. His simple house offers a large terrace with two double rooms, near the pool and main house.
Pollock's Cottage (# 7, 8, 9 and 10) - The house of Arch. Harry E. Pollock offers two Honeymoon rooms (# 7 and 8) with a beautiful terrace overlooking the fountain and main gardens of the hotel. It has two other double rooms with large beds (# 9 and 10) and a cozy terrace surrounded by cedars and tulips.
Linda Schele Suite (# 11) - In homage to Dr. Schele, this original Master Suite features an antique Colonial carved wooden altarpiece at the head of a King bed and a splendid bathroom. Dra. Schele is recognized worldwide for her study and knowledge of the Mayans and her culture.
