As in all large cities and by way of reference, Downtown Cancun is the meeting point for businesses, an intersection point to go from one place to another and meet its people.

Although it is not as striking as those in the tourist area, in it you will find clothing stores, shoes, souvenirs, restaurants, small hotels, banks, squares and typical food stalls of the region, at very accessible prices where you can buy many more things with little money.

The main avenues of Cancun are Tulum and Yaxchilán, on Avenida Tulum all the buses that go to the different regions of the city or also to the Hotel Zone pass, here is the Plaza de Reforma and the Municipal Palace where the celebrations of the Mexican commemoration, art exhibitions and demonstrations of all kinds.

A few steps away you will run into the ADO Bus Terminal, which has constant departures to the most popular tourist destinations and operates 24 hours a day.

Avenida Yaxchilán, is the artery that will take you to the entertainment center of the local people, throughout the length and width of the avenue you will find Mexican food restaurants with live music, mariachis that put even more a Mexican atmosphere, Discos and Bars.

It could not miss its traditional market where its inhabitants buy fruits, vegetables and meat to prepare their food, also they taste delicious Mexican snacks.

This place is all the time full of people who are passing through, or who are looking to experience the daily environment of its inhabitants. The hotels located in the center of Cancun are cheaper than those in the Hotel Zone, some of them have a beach club and are ideal for business trips or large families who want to enjoy the Mexican Caribbean while saving at the same time.
