Punta Nizuc is a small stretch of sand located south of Cancun, here it is common for tourists to come to relax but also to practice different water sports.

Here you will also find beautiful corals that you can access through a snorkeling or diving tour, with the necessary equipment.

These corals are part of the great reef bar that reaches the coast of Yucatan, which is why this area has been classified as a protected natural area. In this place you can observe different species such as manatees, turtles and algae, as it is also surrounded by mangroves and jungle.

But diving is not the only thing that can be done in Punta Nizuc, because you will also have the opportunity to go kayaking; but the activities are not all aquatic, if you are looking for something different but without leaving the beach, you can visit the archaeological zone of San Miguelito that is very close to this place, but you can also visit the crocodile farm and the aquarium found here.

Punta Nizuc is located very close to Playa Ballenas, a bit far from the hotel zone but with much to offer and it also has hotels where you can rest after a long day.
