Located in Tulum, the cenote de la Calavera owes its name to the fact that at the bottom of it you can see a human skull, although it is also related to the 3 holes that are found in its dome and simulate the face of a skull. It is located in the jungle so you will have to leave your vehicle in the parking lot and walk approximately 100 meters to find this semi-open cenote.

When reaching its mouth, it can be accessed in two ways, one is by jumping or going down a completely vertical staircase, either in one way or another, the end will be the same to enjoy its crystal clear and fresh waters that give you a break from the summer heat. While swimming you will be able to see how the light passes through the holes making a wonderful light effect.

It is quite an experience and a great opportunity to live together and enjoy nature to the fullest.
