The Cenote Canunche which in Spanish means "Maduro Well" is located in Homun very close to the outskirts of the town, this is the largest cenote in this place.
To access you have to enter through a hole that has metal stairs that one helps you to descend and the other to get out of the open hole.
Its owners built a platform to tour the cenote and access its crystalline waters of green tones
Some stone stairs welcome you to its crystalline emerald green waters that at first have a depth no greater than 60 centimeters, but if you advance 3 steps then it quickly reaches a maximum depth of 10 meters.
As few cenotes on the right side can be seen on its stone walls painted hands, evidence that the ancient Mayans found refuge and were supplied with water in this place.
In addition, swallows and the famous Tho bird find a home in this cenote, and while you cool off in its cool waters you can hear their fluttering and singing, creating a natural environment.
