This new boardwalk is located in the western part of the Progreso beach and joins the traditional boardwalk through the chocolate pier.
This 1 kilometer long tourist walkway is accessed through an arch with the legend that says "Malecón Internacional de Progreso" its main attraction is a carousel that works in the afternoons with a beautiful view of the gulf.
It can be explored on foot or by bicycle and has several figures to take photos such as the

Additionally, it has a container for Italian food, a hotdog restaurant, a children's play area, a mural and reading area, a sea pavilion, bicycle rental, a colored structure and the skeleton of a whale that arrived in progress in 2006.
