Isla Aguada is Located between Sabancuy and Ciudad del Carmen, Isla Aguada offers visitors miles of unspoiled beaches to enjoy the sea, sand and sun without being bothered by street vendors in large cities and tourist centers. Aguada Island is a small fishing port about 5000 inhabitants, this beautiful place is surrounded by the waters of the Gulf of Mexico and Terminos Lagoon “Laguna de Términos“.
In this small port we can find a gas station, convenience store, school, primary and secondary school, as well as inns, lodges and hotels near or facing the sea.
In the main street of a small jetty port is about 4 kms long with a playground and a dock for boats where fishermen will offer a walk along the Laguna de Términos in search of dolphins you can see in their natural habitat on this street you will see a small church and some old houses that retain the original architecture of the port.
On one side you see the watery island dock that connects to Ciudad del Carmen.
